Kay so FP and all said we need more threads so yeah here I am with one xD
Kay these are some stuff which happen on Windows and even Bill Gates and the whole Microsoft team can't explain hence, calling them magic.
(I) An Indian somehow found out that you cannot in any means create a folder named "CON".The whole Microsoft team couldn't explain this nor find a solution to it.Try it and see for yourself.
(II) This is funny and unexplainable.A Brazilian discovered it.Open Microsoft Word an type in "=rand (200, 99)" and press Enter. And the funny magic appears xD
Note that these are both done without the quotation marks.

I can tell you something magical... It's called having Windows Vista. I magically get blue screens atleast once a week. Microsoft has yet to explain why...

The Word one is just a font test. THats the "official font test sentence." I know, weird, right?

Disk, as I said in the Windows 7 thread, Windows 7 is way better than Vista.Vista has a lot of bugs (and more are being found ATM) and 7 doesn't so switch to that.Plus the 'blue screen of death' ain't the least of it, there are more stupid and unreasonable pop-up messages. (You guys know what I'm talking bout, right?)

I'm gonna test those 2 that 1 magic s up there^. Don't have Word for some reason. :/

This is cool, more of these 'easter eggs' would be nice. An Indian somehow found out that you cannot in any means create a folder named "CON".The whole Microsoft team couldn't explain this nor find a solution to it.Try it and see for yourself. It works for prn, aux, com1, com2 and nul as well, these don't work because they are reserved for DOS commands.

It works for prn, aux, com1, com2 and nul as well, these don't work because they are reserved for DOS commands. here's the explanation for the second one. as for the =rand (200, 99), it's a function in word, =rand (xx, yy)
=rand - function to generate a random sentence, by random, I mean the default test sentence xx = number of sentences per paragraph yy = number of paragraphs
I might have mixed up xx and yy, but that's the general idea/explanation. It was deliberate by microsoft, that was only a story.

Probably what PW said, font test or something. I agree on that, since that sentence is used for font tests.

I would say it's more of a text filler thing, because the default sentence is different (and much longer) the Office 2007 vershun. To get the lazy dog one, you would've had to type "=rand.old()", or something like that..
