Too long to fit the title.... Whats the difference between a meteor, meteroid, and a meteroite? I know this one also. I also took Astronomy in Science Olympiad. This is actually an easy question. The harder ones are about constellations, but i'll get into those later....

a meteoroid is cosmic debris in our solar system. it becomes a meteor when it enters the atmosphere and begins to glow.It becomes a meteorite if it hits the ground.

Meteor = rocky object flying throught the atmosphere
Meteoroid = rocky object flying through space
Meteorite = rocky object sitting on the ground (that came from space)
Please don't ask me what you called a rocky object is called when it hits an aeroplane and stays in it cos i dont know
