foto haha Malware Virus is a link that randomly appears and when clicked, stuffs up your MSN (sometimes it takes effect without clicking it) (not too sure, but rumor has it that it also steals passwords so to be safe, change your MSN password as well).
When you are infected, you you send the link to everyone added in your friends (address) list and repeats at the next person.
Virus Infection Phases (this part I am guessing)
These depend on how long you are exposed to the virus.
Phase 1, disables PM people and automatically sends links.
Phase 2, same as phase 1, but also prevents you from logging on the MSN.
How to get rid of foto haha Malware Virus:
Long Version:
1. Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup.exe) and save it on your Desktop. Free Trial Version should be enough since it worked for me.
2. After downloading, double-click on mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
3. Follow the prompts and install.
4. Before the installation completes, check on the following prompts:
- Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
- Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
5. Click “Finish.” Program will run automatically and you will be prompt to update the program before doing a scan. Please update.
6. Scan your computer thoroughly.
7. When scanning is finished click on the “Show Results”
8. Make sure that all detected threats are marked, click on Remove Selected.
9. Restart your computer.
Compressed Version:
1. Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup.exe)
2. Use the program and scan everything and remove all malware.
3. restart computer when prompt.
Anti-virus won't work because technically it's not a virus, it's malicious software, so that anti-malware program worked for me and lets hope it works for you too.
