Hmmm? You're changing it that way, or draconis/thazumi are?
Anyways, it's a pretty cool idea.
Also, how do you tell if someone has a dynamic or static IP?

Also, how do you tell if someone has a dynamic or static IP? go to run (for vista, press window's key + R) and type in cmd.exe on command, type in ipconfig/all it should make a long list. look at the lines with "DHCP enabled" If it says yes, then you have a static IP If it says no, then you have a dynamic IP. =========================== If you have expensive internet, like ADSL, then you have a static IP.

Well, mine says that DHCP Enabled..................No
So does that mean that I have a dynamic IP?
BUT, one of the lines says Yes.

well.. thats probably an inaccurate method since it doesnt work on my laptop...
.... if your internet costs quite a bit then it should be static, if its cheap then its likely that its dynamic.

although it is more expensive, for static, it is possible for you to host a site if you have a server.
dynamic is cheaper internet but you can't host a site and also you might share IP's with other people (around where you live... maybe state, idk) and if they do things wrong and get banned, you might get banned too. also, you might be suspected of having multi accounts since you have the same IP as someone else.
and this has nothing to do with html

So, it's a good thing that I have static?
And, you mentioned with Skariz, that you can turn dynamic IP 'off?'
