Megaman would win, One shot to the face would kill Sonic, however, if it was game mechanics, Megaman would still win.

Ayup. And seriously, how many weapons Megaman has, the chances of winning is literally over 200% Depends on how you use them of course.

In facts,Megaman could win against around 99% of the video game characters, depending of the megaman(Cl,X,Lg,Ex or Sf and maybe, cyber-elf X ?) and the weapon he use.

That's fan made. Doesn't explain anything. And this is no argument.-_- 1)Sonic rarely punches. 2)Megaman doesn't kneel and take pity. He stands like a fool while the opponent just lies there like a wimp ^^

^have you played Super Smash Bros. Brawl? He punches plenty of times. Also, I though he touched one of sonic's spikes? since he is a hedgehog? -.-

That's fur. Megaman is metal. And a punch doesn't kill Megaman. Buuut, the last frame looks like Sonic is just punching the air for victory. But still, it's fur and Megaman is metal.

You all do know that spikes are OHKO's in the Megaman world... Right? Megaman poked the spike and died... It's not that hard to get the joke people. But seriously, as I pointed out in a previous post. That is the cold hard facts... It's not a complete matter of abilities, but of character, personality, and reaction.

yeah, that's what I thought, also...but then couldn't sonic just run over to megaman and poke him and insta-win?

Oh yeah, the spikes. Well still, they're fur. Egman/Robotnik made the stage spikes metal. I'd like to add though. Megaman Original has a rather high health bar in the very beggining of games. Megaman X, however, starts out...measly.

Megaman X, however, starts out...measly. Actually according to Inafune... X's healthbar in X1 for being small was actually four times the size of the original Megaman's. It's due to the materials that make up X's armor and his internal auto repair systems. The reason though he takes damage at a higher level is equivilant to the technological leap that has improved upon the output of the various weapon systems through out the world as of 21xx. At the start of each new X game, X's health is supposedly equivilant to the end game health of the previous game. Technology just keeps advancing in a world filled with endless strife as weapons development becomes the order of the day. o:

Hm... probably a tough one.... but depending on which megaman you are speaking of, the results may vary. Sonic is a hedgehog. His spikes aren't made of fur. I think. Even if they were, they wouldn't matter... With Megaman's many abilities, he would most likely win. Especially in Megaman 8. Mega gets an ability called like Astro Meteor of something like that. It takes up literally the whole screen, and is the best ability in the game. It murders everything. Sonic would be no match.

^Sonic could move out of the screen lol. And yeah, I don't think the spikes are fur, either. :/
