'L' vs Akiyama

Ok, Death Note and Liar Game fans. The Ultimate question who is better (smarter/cooler). I'll give a brief bio on both:

'L': The genius detective, known as the best in the world. Forfeiting his own life to rid the world of the injustice of Light Yagami.

> Has a sweet tooth
> Sits stragely
> Rarely sleeps
> Has bags underneath his eyes.
> Has a slouch
> Sits in his building basically everyday.
> Doesn't care about other people's feelings.



Akiyama: Akiyama Shinuichi, the world famous con artist, recently release form prison. Known as the 'Genius Swindler'. Akiyama-san has helped save Miss Nao from many threats from the Liar Game tournament. This young man isn't as strange as 'L' but is also a genius.

> Has a slight slouch
> Has minor bags under his eyes
> Is excellent at disguising himself
> Slightly sympathetic.




Both are geniuses and both can come up with masterful plans.
Who is better? The Legendary 'L' or the 'Con Artist Akiyama'

*I suggest to all you read both mangas (Please read the manga for Liar Game, not watch the drama, Akiyama is WAY cooler in the manga than drama) Both are excellent manga.

I like Akiyama more. He's more sympathetic than L. L doesn't really care about others.

Just started reading it, so don't really have an opinion yet. I will let you know, though.


EDIT: Yes I love it. It is great, not even done book one!


EDIT2: On the second round. Funny, I figured out the first round where the money was hidden a few pages before they actually revealed it. Amazing series!
