guard cancel: guard cancel is very helpful addition to the game. To guard cancel; while blocking, either flash step or use Super/ Special. It "cancels" your guard and does what you pressed. I usually use it for escaping from attacks or to use a super after someone attacks me.

If Kyoraku and Ukitake team, they each have a Super C. It costs 3 s-pres but when one them uses it, it teleport his teammate over and he uses his one as well (even if he's getting bashed). The best part is, even if one of them uses it, the other's s-pres doesn't get used up. It does ENORMOUS amounts of damage.

damage cancel is done by presign flsh step and an attack at the same time while ur getting bashed (xcept with a super). It uses one bar of S-pres, but knocks the opponent over. It can be really worth it sometimes.

uryu might see like a noob chracter, but if you use him correctly, he's one of the best (not to mention annoying) characters. If you doubt it, i could very likely trash you using uryu. Hehehe...

Tip: If u r Uryu get on the side of the field, area (whatever u call it) throw the opponent and use Super A ASAP. U have to be on edge of field or very close to it.
Tip: If u r Ukitake, get next to opponent then use Special B followed by Super A ASAP. Does almost as much as a Bankai. SpB-SuA only uses 1 sp-power, 1 sp-pres.
Tip: For Kenpachi, Sp-D increases range (can be stacked up to 7 times) Su-A increases atking speed (can't be stacked). Because continually tapping Sp-D takes too long you can press Across-Down-Across-A (hold A) to continually charge. It charges a lot faster and can be stopped whenever u want.

correction. SuA actually enables chain.
and if ur ukitake, you might want to watch out for his tubercolosis
