That was a Type A, black which broke at the hands of my lil bro.....
And got another Type A, black 2 days ago and just now as my sis played with it....she dropped it, hard, on the floor.I might just give up on cubing.....they won't even compensate me for breaking my cubes.....I'm not gonna buy any more cubes for them to break so yeah if this one breaks, I'll stop cubing.

Well, erm.....two core pieces (The piece tht's kinda screwed onto the core) cracked. One was utterly beyond saving while the other just cracked in half. I freaking wondered how did they do that. I mean it's fine even after I play with it for like, weeks and a few days in their possession, it's broken. Truly bothered me at one point.

No, although i did come across it when looking to solve it. I used s really good one on youtube. He explains it really well, although i used about half of the tutorial, then brached off of it to make my own way. I use the F2L method.

Nice! you should join the speedsolving forum. They have a lot of info there. I myself also use F2L. After that, I use OLL and PLL. I'm Catholic and gave it up for Lent xD. So I'm playing with the Megaminx now.

OLL-Orienting the Last Layer. I solve the opposite color of the cross. OLL-Permute the Last Layer. After solving the opposite side of the cross, I switch around edges and corners to solve the cube, such as swapping around 3 edges, 3 corners, etc.

Ah. yeah, thats what i do. And just about an hour ago, i retimed myself. I brought it down to two minutes. I can do the middle layer really fast, and the last layer just a little slower, but doing the first cross takes me forever lol I want to get it down to a minute, but im not sure how i can shave off one. :/
w00t! 1:40:15. That was a really lucky solve. All i had to do was flip the edge pieces on the cross, and then just solve from there
1:39:31. That one wasn't luck. That was speed. Just lubed my cube again lol.
1:29:08. I'm murdering this thing lol

You use the beginners method or Fridrich? After Lent, I'm going to start practicing cross BLD (Blindfolded) so I can get it done in 4 seconds. Then I can knock off A LOT of time. Then I'll start recognizing PLLs. I know a good shop online in the USA. The guy knows me personally. It's www.speedcubeshop.com/He has FAST shipping! I'm getting a Ghost Hand 3x3 from him.
