If we go to hell to be punished, does that make Satan a good person?

OMG!!You actually said what was in my head.But really, it all comes down to your perspective.
But for me I'm still thinking he's in the middle.You know what I mean??I think he's good only when those who are there because they did wrong and get punished but if you say he tempted the people to do wrong so that he'd have people to punish in Hell, I don't think so.I mean surely he doesn't wanna lose his job xD

lol very true. But if hell is technically the underworld, what does hades rule? That confuses me too.... are they the same person? Zeus and God have many things in common, dontcha think?
I mean, the whole, we need mortals to rule the world thing seem to be awfully familliar in the 7 days thing.

That's cause Zeus is the god at least in Greek mythology.He is the ruler of Mount Olympus or what some people call Olympia.Zeus's history is a most confusing one as he was called a lot of diff. names and each of them had a diff. role but all in all, I know that he is the greatest among gods in Greek mythology.

Kay, then this situation happens to most people.
Your friend always skips school, doesn't go home and is getting involved with gangs and even starts to smoke.Out of kindness, you tell him to stop doing so but he doesn't so you talk to the teachers and they talk to his parents about it.His parents then ask the police for help but they end up catching him stealing red-handed.He gets to be free as long as he does community service for 56 hours.So you manage to stop him in doing bad things but he hates you cause you made him get the punishment of doing community service.So what does that make you??Good or bad??Think bout it.

FP, you dead wrong bout this.I'm Christian......and I know that Satan is sent there to be punished but in reality think about this.If it wasn't for Satan, the seven demons would not have emerged and humans would not be suffering because of the seven sins.The monster with the three sixes is in fact, in my opinion, one of the main causes of well, the suffering of mankind. I never said i was Christian. I'm not anything. I believe in science. Plus, i believe there is substantial proof that a bunch of people got together and wrote the bible to have something to be glad for when they die... but i'm not quite sure...... anyway... that doesn't really matter.
You can keep discussing... but you guys are beyond me... so go when you're ready. XD

Is life an illusion cast by our subconcious, are we really in fact the only intelligent individual living out our lives amongst a drone sea of illusionary life, does time and space really exist or is it all just a figment of our imaginations, is science and myth one in the same just two sides of the same coin, does one live to exist or exist to live, what really defines personality and gender, are we genetically altered or altered genetically to live on earth, since the universe has a skeleton does it mean that the universe is actually god and that we are just to small and insignificant to see the whole, is a condrum with in a paradox as powerfull as an enigma wrapped with in a shadow, if one was to go the speed of light would they age and die as fast as light too then, if the end of the world is supposedly 2012 then why does the mayan callender continue past then as well as all the other ancient callenders, is eden a real location on earth that must be found, Shangrilah is a real place in Tibet but it isn't a paradise so what is the Shangrilah to Shangrilah, how mortal is immortal?

Hm... i don't think so... depending on what life you mean. Like the actualy life cycle or what.... but i'm pretty sure its nto an illusion... i mean its sorta obvious we see people die... right? :/

The Bible is a collection of 66 books. That actually does make you good because you helped your friend from messing up his life and if he hates you then he just doesn't understand you and doesn't know how to be a true friend. Even though you will be going into his business it was for his own good. Maybe one day that person will thank the friend in the near future. |

It's one complex paradoxial universal conundrum that reflects the briefness and vagueness that exists with in life and how we are confined to the expanse of vision offered to us only by our own senses. It is a metaphorical hyperbole as there is no clear concise answer that would solve the full time/space/existential manifest that we are limited to understanding and interacting with. It shows how limited our scope is and how infinite the macrocosm is. o: |
