Neither, they are Legendary Beasts. I agree. No way to actually tell. I've always just said their names, not all in a group. So i'm just gonna go with pokemon that have four legs and are super hard to catch. XD |

Raikou = Saber-tooth Cat
Entei = Lion or Dog
Suicune = ... um... Wolf? which is dog related
so.... it's a tie.. so.... beasts as a general

I find entei to be more of a lion, unless its supposed to be a bulldog or something... and suicune, I couldn't find a feline it is supposed to look like...so I guess it IS a canine...but it could be some sort of feline...

Entei is definately a dog, just look at that fur.
Raikou - hard to say... more a Sabre-toothed cat...
Suicune bears resemblence more to a dog.
