Seeing this thread will catch your attention because it's like necromancy...
Seriously, I don't mean this to sound like a rant, but this is really how I feel about this forum now.
I've been on this forum for aover two years now. Starting out, WOW, <3 it.
Then the someone decided to make a minimum post limit to see the codes. I don't think many people like that. since many of you can't tell, a lot of the other sites out there have the codes out plain and simple.
I didn't really want to believe this before, but this forum is pointless, a waste of time and too dictatorship. Permenant banning for posting codes somewhere else. How are you gonna find out who did it? And who says they won't copy it onto notepad first? Why do we even have this many staff members on such a tiny forum?
I find it extrememly hard to believe I would spent over six hours a day on a forum like this. Unless this forum takes a step up and change to a taste a majority people like, this forum won't amount to something good anymore.
To some of you out there, I don't this to ffend you. This is truly how I feel.

FZ-You've worked really hard.
LZ-Um, I think you're dead. But what I hope for your sake is that this forum start fresh. It's too old to get any popular now.

I agree with you PD. Not on everything, but I agree with you on most of what you stated. I found this forum when I was 14 or so. I had some good times being here so I don't regret wasting my free time here whenever I'm on the computer. And I don't know how to find you on Facebook. o.o

It was fun when we were younger. I happen to agree on this. (it was meant to be something like, if you take the codes and post them without credits or claim them to be yours, then you'll be banned. Not, if you take them, you're banned) It's funny how many people use the same email or username where they post the stuff. lol |

Everything stated is true. 25 posts for the codes is a bit ridiculous but I used to get like 50+ posts in a day so meh, it's a petty problem. I think it was made with getting respect and credit in mind but 10 or 15 woulda be plenty imo. If you head to any GFX resource forum, you'd have to have a minimum post to be able to view resources or make requests. Its just a way of them saying "You have to be loyal to get these. Respect people and earn your rights to get these resources that people spend time making or acquiring. They are free but we can opt to keep it to ourselves." I mean if everyone just came for the codes, it'd be a dead place and as FZ mentioned, people like that Pr0phetZero dude will always appear. Trolls and leechers are like weed. Ban one and two more come. They just keep multiplying.
Like LZ said, so many staff on a dead forums is useless but since there's nothing to moderate, there is also no need to demote them. I kinda realized this fact quite a while back (Hence the demotion request.) but decided to keep it to myself since I knew that everyone present then would have also realized that. Plus, only a few forum regulars actually make this place feel alive. Face it, only the staff and some veterans come hang out once in a while in the chat. Most of us post threads that like get replies after weeks xD
Like kids that leave their toys when they grow up, people here attend College and University when the times comes and life is busy and will always get busier as we all know it.
As for what the future holds, no one can tell. Maybe this place will bloom again. Maybe this place will stay dead. There are many of "Maybes" but one thing's for sure. We came to knew each other because of this site and because of NDS (Duh) and we have a place to come hang if we feel bored xD (Unless the chat is much more depressive and boring and empty that is)

Alright, so I can't post where i actually wanted to post, but i guess i'll talk a little bit here too.
I don't actually plan on going anywhere, because i come here like every other day still. I just lurk more than anything now. It's be awesome if the site was revamped, but from the looks of it, i think it might not be. Dunno. Hopefully i'll still be around when it is. >.>
Anyway, i have a question actually relating to ARDS codes... Are there any code for Golden Sun: Dark Dawn yet?
