New type, as in, fire/water/grass/etc. Like, maybe the legendary for Black will be dark-type, and the legendary for White will be a new type, like Light.

Hope they don't change the name because of some people finding it racist =(
They did that with megaman battle network 3, it was black and white in japan but blue and white in America.

I'm guessing that the Left is Fire, Middle is Grass and Right is Water.
but then again, that makes them very similar to Turtwig and Piplup

New quality Starter Pokemon silhouettes. I think maybe the left one can be grass because the left one's tail looks like a leaf clover in a way. We shall find out in a few days!  |

I actually based what I said on the Pokemon's feet.
However, if you base it on something else. Then it's Grass (Left), Fire (Middle), Water (Right).
